First, you say you don't use chemicals in your garden then you say you use the Walmart house brand of the water-soluble Miracle-Gro fertilizer. BTW, many organic garden products are chemicals too just from natural sources. The nutrients in synthetics are derived in different ways and those in MG or other reputable brands tend to usually come from naturally occurring mineral deposits vs more petroleum-based in cheaper fertilizers. Also, MG will have several minor and macronutrients that cheaper fertilizers leave out. Plus at this price it's less expensive than the cheaper wal-mart knockoffs.

For me, there is a noticeable difference when used on vegetables and fruits (tomatoes), so I am guessing it depends on the depletion or absence of whatever in one's soil. Unlike regular NPK and especially the P and K that requires a few years to break down and usable, this is a chelated product that is readily consumable by plant life... including foliar feeding.

I don't know who your troll enemy is but I don't use chemical in my garden. If you use chemical fertilizer you might as well save yourself the hassle and buy from the store. I am by no means a professional but I make my own compost, liquid compost (tea) and fertilizer for my veggies, fruit trees and only use this type of stuff for my non edible gardens. I actually use the Walmart knock off version of this which works just as good for half the price.

I've been watching the price on this going lower and lower for weeks, but it seemed to stop at this price point, so I bought 2 when I saw the mirror listing on Amazon, since they ship free at $25 versus $35 for Walmart. I should have it in hand tomorrow.

If you actually took the time to correctly read my comment you would notice that I said I use this type of stuff in my non edible gardens. Edible means stuff that you eat and that's where I DON'T use this. I hope that helps. I loaded up on the Walmart brand when it went on clearance so when spring rolls around I will be ready to go. I have chickens and use their manure, egg shells, use my banana plant leaves and elephant ears in 55 gallon containers with rain water as a liquid tea and I compost with used coffee grounds and tea from a local restaurant.

It's a decent deals, and a pretty useful product. It went as low as 9.99 last year, can wait for it if you are not in a hurry.

Tips: Just put a shallow spoonful of fertilizer in 5 gal of water (for mature green leafy vegetables) or half a shallow spoonful in 5 gal of water (for small potted vegetables) and wait until the fertilizer dissolves.
