There's no latency if you hook this up correctly. You either had a lemon, a bad cable, or you hooked it up incorrectly. Govee responds to what's on the screen, so by definition it's delayed. This responds to the video signal as it's being sent to the tv.

Really? I have the original and the "new" model hooked up with the HDMI sync box and it's spot on. Were you using the sync box as well ?

Great price and cool product. I have myself talked into it but I don't like the fact that the required sync box doesn't do hdmi 2.1. Whole reason I upgraded my TV for series x gaming. Anyone know if a hue sync box with hdmi 2.1 is coming?

I have had this and the sync box for over a year now. It worked great, up until recently. I can no longer get the sync app working. It gets to the point where you press button to confirm the connection and it wont progress. I'm not the only one if you browse the app reviews on the google play store at least. The review rating is sitting around 2 of 5 stars with everyone having a similar issue. You may want to wait until they fix this or you always have the option to return it.

This is probably a bit YMMV, but I bought the 65" for my 85" and obviously it was too small, so I went to the best buy store where they had the 75" in stock and gave me the same discount, this was back when there was like $50-75 off. That one did not include the gift card. Maybe it would work with this promotion too?

Have you ensured it is setup to the latest firmware ? Mine recently needed an update, for me the only other annoyance is sometimes it gives an HDMI error, and I need to restart it to get the sync working. Also check to ensure your Hub isn't too far away. Good luck!

Everyone who has asked, including myself, have gotten a non-answer from Hue. They basically came out with their new ambilight TV system instead.
