I almost let this game slip past me because I jumped on the hate wagon that the youtubers and redditors spread around. I get it that the story was not written to what we wanted. Also it did piss me off too because of our beloved character. I still pushed on and then after awhile it captured me leaving me wanting to see whats going to happen next like a TV series that has you engaged. It kept me staying up all hours of the night. Crazy I know, to a game that everyone shit on. Others have their own opinion of this game and thats perfectly fine.

Imo, last of us 2 at same quality overall or better as playing uncharted 4, or civ 5, or Doom (2016), or horizon zero dawn. Not the same type of games mostly, obviously.

I really do not want to bring any partisan or political or social justice matters in the thread, but had to give that disclaimer.
It really is a better game in my opinion. Story is long. Action is better.
I recently played through the first part again after 6 or 7 years, and despite not remembering much from the first game from the first playthrough, I concluded I liked the part 2 better, for a game.
