Been considering these so hard. Returned my AirPods Pro 2. Like the wingtip on BFP. Don't like lack of qi charging. USB-C is fine. Like integration w Apple devices. Costco includes Apple care for free which is great. Can do free online returns w Costco but excluded items includes "all Apple products" and think this is NOT considered an Apple product but not 100% sure. Don't live near a store to return them if unhappy. 10% back on Amazon with chase card. East returns on Amazon. So conflicted. Help me. Maybe cheaper on BF but no guarantees.

Can't find any rumors about BFP 2 release date but was wondering if they would be refreshed early next year because they came out in Jan 2022. If that were the case, I would def hold off. But who knows.

Decided against these. Too worried about the frequently mentioned issue of the wingtip tearing, which is shown in reviews on Amazon, Best Buy, etc. Reddit says Apple won't take any responsibility and will only fix it for the $29 "incident" charge under AppleCare. Not interested in dealing with that in less than 6 months of use according to many reviewers.

I've had them since they were released…. I have no idea how you would ever tear the wing tip…a lot of times, I'll put them in my work jeans pocket because I do t want them to fall out while I'm pouring concrete…and they have survived just fine….

I just got back from the Apple store with the same issue, but they wanted $179 for out of warranty repair. As long as you don't take them out of the case by the wing, it's fine. I've had mine for a year without issue. Friend took them out by the wing accidentally.

Friend of mine took them out of the charging case by the wing and they ripped. I had no issues before this. Had them since they released too

I have both and generally speaking the AirPods Pro 2 will crush these in almost every way. The one reason I still wear my Beats is the fit. AirPods Pro tend to fall out of my ear if I'm doing anything but sitting still. I can work out with the BFP and they stay pretty well. In terms of sound quality, audio quality, compatibility, and most importantly (for me) noise cancellation, the AirPods are leagues ahead.
