The Electric ratchet is a game changer. If you do any automotive work at all it's worth it's weight in gold. I would skip fuel, as the head is too big and gets in the way.

I'll run fasteners in with the ratchet all day long, but wouldn't dare do it with an impact. If the bolt starts to hang you feel it right away and can skip re-tapping the hole you just stripped. Whereas the impact will just gum it right up. I probably use the ratchet twice to three times more often than my impact.
the Impact Driver is tiny beast!

I grabbed this one and the combo with the ratchet $340 out the door for 4 tools + 4 batteries and I can sell the extra impact and lower the cost further

Interesting, I never got into using ratchets, I just use my 3/8 impact instead and a ratcheting hand wrench for harder to reach stuff. Do you find that there are situations in which a ratchet is worth the time to grab, even if you had the impact handy?

I'd say I've gotten a feel for zipping bolts in with my impact, and haven't stripped one yet. A loose grip on lowest setting is key, it limits the torque. I have an air ratchet but it's just so slow, I never use it

Yeah they're good. Don't use daily but often enough. I'm sure will last forever for my home needs.

They did a couple of weeks ago with a free 2.5ah battery. It was posted on here.

The ratchet is great for tight spaces where you can't even get one-click of a manual ratchet. Or where you can't use two hands to hold the ratchet with one, and the extension with the other.
Only wish the body was a bit smaller for those tight spaces.
