This is a good card for 0% APR on purchases due to the relatively lengthy 21 month duration of the offer, but it's not as good for balance transfers due to the 5% balance transfer fee.

Navy Federal Credit Union Platinum Credit Card will give you 0% balance transfer fee and only 0.99% APR for 12 months.

I'm seeing US Bank Visa Platinum card reviewed as 3% balance transfer fee and 0% APR for 18 months, however it looks like they may have updated the terms to exactly match the Wells Fargo card. Either way it's an alternative to consider.

For specific purchases you may want to check if any of your current cards will offer you 0% promotions. For example I found that my Chase card offered me 24 months 0% APR with no fees on a recent large purchase.

Yep! I agree! I'm a Navy Federal Credit Union member and have the Platinum Card because of the intro no transfer fees and they even gave me 15 months no interest on my balance transferred too!

Has anyone has this card, canceled then reapplied without using the 0% offer? I got it like 8mo ago and never used it for what I had planned (buy a car) to point where had wasted half the 0% (only had about 12mo left) so closed and figured get a different card with at least 18mo. At 21mo this is one of the longest 0% offers that I know of, so I would get again if possible. Sort of doubt it but figured ask here if anyone had done it.

All credit cards are 0% interest during the first month. 👌

What's the point of only 1 month?

You have to be active duty, reserve, navy civilian or a direct relative to either.
I'm not sure if it's open to all military or navy only.

I'm a navy civilian employee and I'm a member. I have my auto loan with them.

Good to know ! Been a while paid off all cards , as don't like 5% fee . Back until 2014 I've done many chase BTs for zero fees .
Do you know if I can just apply for Navy Fed CU card and do BT to any card that has no balance , so I can request check ? BAC used to allow it not sure if the credit union will check if a balance exists !

Wells Fargo is a terrible place to do business with. I'm not wealthy, but they took my account from 160,000 to 140000 in two months with their intuitive investor and all of their fees. They made me late on bills multiple times by lying about when transfers would happen, what fees would be waived, etc and then locked me out of my account for over two months because of their own error costing me another 3000$ because I couldn't see my positions or make trades.

No thank you. Fu©k Wells Fargo.

Did they say why? I also have 800 credit score and did not get approved, still waiting for the letter for the reason why. So dumb, I've never been denied credit card application prior to this.
