Wow - no where near a deal. Purchased last year for $7.38 and regular price was 12.88. Now twice the price - crazy. Yes I know their is no time machine since that always comes up but wanted to throw out a comparison on something that is supposed to be front page "slick"
But now I have to wash a shaker and then remember to bring it back home, which I won't then it'll get lost and I'll have to buy a new shaker to do it all over again lol

my wife and i love these. taste way less like artificial sweetners and way more like actual chocolate than a lot of other brands (looking at you muscle milk). Sometimes we even use some as creamer in my coffee to get a delicous "mocha." Obvy getting powder is cheaper but the convenience of having these in the fridge ready to go is great.

This only has a couple grams more protein than the equivalent volume of milk.

This lasts longer than the equivalent volume of milk and is much more convenient to bring to work. Any other Newtonian observations professor ?
Harsh reaction to a subtle thread dump. I think most people wouldn't be inconvenienced by tossing a scoop of powder into a shaker bottle with milk. Adkins has been sued enough for anyone to look at this skeptically and wonder if a glass of milk or other alternative would be better.

Half-decent protein powders are up to $.75/serving on sale now, so I won't argue with premixed for $1-$1.25 (unless you consider the waste, but I just mean cost). Plus less mess, easier storage, and easier portability.

Unless you cannot have solid food, a snack size nuts or beef jerky is much healthier than this. Just read the long list of ingredients. And it doesn't taste good in my opinion.

Seems it would be obvious as this is Aktins, but there seems to be alot of confusion here.

This is primarily a low carb product. It's essentially a low carb version of milk with similar protein content (2g net carbs vs 20g in regular skim milk) and better taste than water mixed with protein powder.

My wife and I buy them occasionally when they are cheap as it's a convenient option to take to think like our kids sporting events. This is around the normal "sale" price these days. As noted, it's been cheaper in the past, depending on flavor.

If you are looking for just a protein drink and aren't concerned with carbs, there are plenty of other options (eg the aforementioned milk with added protein powder of your choice).

I use these for a lunch substitute when busy / working... and for me, it was only $11.88 with S&S on Amazon.

Atkin's products are the worst. The ingredients of most of their products read like the list of items that Keto dieters should avoid:
Dextrose, Sugar, Palm oil, Soy, Carrageenan, Acesulfame Potasium, Sucralose, Maltitol, etc...

Slap as many of those ingredients in a product as you can, then imply or state that this product is Keto friendly/healthy, then mark up the price accordingly because of the name brand.

This Atkin's product is probably has probably the 'cleanest' list of ingredients I've seen. It only contains Carrageenan, Soy, Acesulfame Potasium, & Sucralose. If you don't mind eating these items, that's fine, but it's basically the same ingredient list as most Walmart Great Value products, which are cheaper.
