That said, it's very handy and convenient, so it could be worth $200 if you have a practical need for it. I wouldn't buy it for $200 to keep in the house, as nice as it'd be to ditch the various chargers I've acquired.

You can ditch your old chargers easily for $10-$25 each.
I have two of these, I bought new for around $170 (Lowe's had on sale and was able to stack 10% off). They work great. Two is kind of overkill and I rarely use both, and when I do it's not really needed, more of a flex I guess. They are very well built and work really well.

This isn't like the chargers that are included.
The standard chargers charge anywhere from 1.25 amps/hour(Dcb107), 2 amps/hour (dcb112) to 4 amps/hour (dcb115). On rare occasion some bundles will have the 6 amp/hour charger (dcb1106) or the 8 amp/hour (dcb118) which is the single port version of this. The 6 amp chargers and above are fan cooled. Now some batteries don't benefit from the faster chargers and won't charge any faster than the 4 amp charger like the 2ah battery or older 4ah and 5ah battery based on the date code.
The four port charger saves time, and depending on what you do for a living or if you value your time, it may make it worth it.
For example, take a 8ah battery, which is needed for the power detect tools, and is a little bit bigger than the smallest (6Ah) flexvolt battery needed for flexvolt or flexvolt advantage tools, to keep the math easy. If you can't work until that battery is charged, and you have to wait, $200 for a fast charger is well worth it.
On the standard chargers that 8ah battery would charge in:
1.25a/hr =6.4 hrs
2a/hr=4 hrs
4a/hr=2 hrs
8a/hr=1 hr
For a home owner may not be worth it. I have it and I sell software for a living as I don't like to wait when I need something, and am a frequent DIY person. I use 3-4 flexvolt 9ah batteries to mow, edge and clean up after with the blower.

"but it's still at least $100+ too expensive for being mostly plastic with some charging electronics" … "but that's Dewalt for you"
Would love to see your advice on an airplane… " but at $2Million dollars it's at least $1.99M+ too expensive for being mostly aluminum with some electronics and jet propulsion engines… but that's Boeing for you".

We had a gigantic storm a few years ago, lost power, and I used it to plug our hot water heater into, so we could take warm showers.
