I've had it. Good at this price. I dislike how a lot of hot sauces try to use "devil" in their naming and promotional packaging. Its especially strange on this one because it's not even remotely hot. It is very mild and vinegar forward.

One of the original Louisiana hot sauces. Right there with Crystal, Louisiana, Tabasco, and Franks on the Mount Rushmore of flavorful barrel-aged cayenne hot sauces.

#1 is Tabasco, top shelf, unique.
#2 Crystal
#3 Louisiana Hot Sauce, I consider just a 'hair' behind Crystal.

Cayenne peppers are the main ingredient in all 3 above, while Trappeys has vinegar as the main ingredient at a higher % proportion.

As far as I'm concerned you can keep Trappeys (now out of New Jersey) and as for Franks... gag me.
Hot sauces have different uses. Franks is perfection inside of Chili.

Huy Fong's Sambal Oelek is a must have for homemade subs/cold-cut sandwiches.

Huy Fong's Sriacha (the Rooster sauce) is perfect on Asian dishes (but really it's good on everything).

Cholula's hot sauce goes well in Mexican food (tacos, burritos, etc).

Those are staples for me. But I'm always willing to try out a new hot sauce when it's on sale.

I bought a bottle of Trappy's Bull hot sauce years ago. I remember it was dyed bright red. I didn't like it. It stayed in my refrigerator for years until I eventually threw it away. At least this Red Devil variety doesn't list red dye in the ingredients.

Out of stock. You can still place an order for delivery later but you have to change the seller.

It's that a bad thing? I'm not a big fan of vinegar, but I do like hot.

I also like hot but not the taste of vinegar. This [walmart.com] has become my favorite hot sauce. It seems to be widely stocked at Walmart.
