Don't forget that calories aren't created equal, so to speak! Sugar from dates in Lara bars are not the same as sugar in a Snickers.

I actually like Larabars, but the names of their products are ridiculous, they never taste like the names. It's the one thing I've always disliked about the company. This is made of cashews and dates, that's it, it resembles a traditional cookies flavor about as much as a donkey.

I actually like Larabars, but the names of their products are ridiculous, they never taste like the names. It's the one thing I've always disliked about the company. This is made of cashews and dates, that's it, it resembles a traditional cookies flavor about as much as a donkey.

Forget about names and what it's supposed to taste like. If these "cookies" have a similarity to the bars....you're better off eating the box it was shipped in.

This would be best described as an energy bar with 250 calories and 27 grams of carbs. In that case I would probably just get a Snickers bar since the calories and carbs are roughly the same.

I've ordered Larabars from Amazon multiple times over the last few years and haven't gotten any moldy Larabars.

Snickers don't work as an energy bar when they're stuffed into jersey pockets for long bike rides, they end up as melted goop.
