Does anyone know if this is a slae price vs new normal price. $1/inch has always been a good threshold for parallel clamps.

48" clamps are usually not much more than 24" ones, since all they are is a longer bar.

Pretty good price. Usually pipe clamps are better price wise beyond like 24" but this seems solid.

Just a quick look looks like if you wanted 2 you could get 10ft of black pipe for $30 (Lowes will cut to size and thread) and 2 of the fixtures for $40. So 2 clamps for about $35 each.

HUGE problem with ordering these from HD or anywhere really is the packaging is usually trash and they will come in super banged up if not broken.

Ya, u are rolling the dice if you don't buy these in store. Even from the rack in store, takes me picking up and inspecting like 3-4 different units to find one that isn't loose or wobbly or misaligned or has some other slop defect in the mechanism.

They are rebadged and yellow Jorgenson's. I have both. Though the handles are shaped a bit different too, I think I like the Dewalt handles a bit better. And the shipping from HD was fine for me on these. But I don't think this is a special price, same I paid months ago.

I have original Bessy, Jorgenson and the Harbor Freight Bremen. To be honest I like the HF the most even though I have had the Bessy the longest and 90 percent of my parallel clamps are Bessy. Check out the Wood Whisperer and others reviews on YT. They are hard to beat.

I thought they looked very similar to the Jorgensen clamps. The Jorgensen 48" are on sale at Lowe's for $39.99 https://www.lowes.com/pd/Jorgense...1000988300

Glad you like them, I just love HF, but didn't WW have a long series where the Bremen failed and he did a teardown and showed how it wasn't milled properly and started slipping?

I was tempted as I have a 10% off birthday discount, but they are 49.99 by me.

What is this witch-f&ckery? How in the world do you get Lowes employees to cut and THREAD black pipe for you? I can't even find somebody in lumber to trim crown molding.
