Credit cards are for very responsible people.

I have both this and Wells Fargo Active Cash but the Wells Fargo gives cellphone protection and it's 2% back as well.

You can't get higher than 2% on all purchases, I checked.

This is incorrect. The Robinhood Gold card is unlimited 3% cash back on all purchases. I've had it for several months and it works great. The only caveat is that you must be a gold member, which costs $50/year. Technically not an annual fee, but really it is an annual fee, however indirect. Totally worth it though. Racking up rewards at rate 50% faster than with the Double Cash card (my go-to card for the previous decade) has been amazing.

Agree. I'm doing the same. RH Gold has been amazing and you get to claim your cash back instantly after your spend (even during pending transaction) and that cashback gets deposited into your cash balance on RH which earns a daily high yield, so you're effectively getting even more back than the Double Cash and other cards where you have to wait a statement cycle.

The minimum APR of 19.24% is a rip off, even with the 2% reward. Consumers should boycott these companies ripping off people.
People who use credit cards should pay their statement in full. It's an obvious personal finance tip to not ever carry balance on your CC. I don't think any cash back card's % of cashback could make up for any of the financing rates.

Maybe a trick so that you can't get the bonus. You will have to fully max out your limit for 3 months if that's even possible.
You can buy things pay it off completely the next day and when the balance is back just buy again. Buying groceries every week on it with inflation where it is and you have 1500 in 6 weeks or less. For me it would be 5 weeks tops.

Sofi has 3% cash back for first year and 2.2% cash back after that. No 0% apr though and must have direct deposit.

The WF Autograph has 3% for cell phones. Also pair the citi cards with citi rewards for the extra boost.

I really hate these promoted CC posts, but this is really a solid credit card. Signed up years ago with no bonus offer bc it's just an easy rewards system. 2% off everything is great if you don't spend a ton (since there's no annual fee), don't want to deal with variable and dynamic rebate rates for each category of spending, especially if you don't travel. I just credit the rebate to my bill once a month. Highly recommended.

Hi, i would put the rebate as a credit because they usually don't count credits as payments so you lose out on 1% of whatever that credit(s) is.

Ran into an issue with this one. The advertised 18 month 0% interest was removed after month 1. Solid offer and card though

Like they removed it from your card after giving it to you? Late payment or something?

Years ago Citi out of the blue jacked up my APR during a tough time, never forgiven them since.

How did they expire? Did you not use it for a year?

Not sure if this was answered but the only way points expire is if you close all accounts.

Oh man, this is so financial 101/ common sense and people still don't get it. I happened to browse through a few Reddit posts and people talked about APR, carrying a balance and their merely 3%-5% reward. It's utterly nonsense.

Yep and when I called they said I never had it even though they gave to me the month before. Had a savings account with them and emptied it out and turned on paper billing on all of my credit cards going forward.

I would close all my accounts with them but they are an important part of my 5% cash back on everything strategy
