they are having a cyber attack for the last 12 hrs, so give it a few and it should be fixed!
Unit is solid and powerful enough for my HD800S.
Long lasting battery. But it's heavy. I use it to take hard to drive headphones to the front yard or living room where there's no amp there and a qdelix or btr5 would be simply over worked.
Went ahead and got this one for laptop use and as a backup. Hopefully it's as good as the BL edition and lasts me another half decade plus.

I agree. I don't know of any balance issues on mine, and I'd think i'd know. It's rather heavy and immobile though. I try to use it on my bed with laptop and it's cumbersome to my right, using u0p bed real estate. I might mount it to my bedpost. heh.
Sound is great. And have you read the description of this product? They have a marketing genius write that stuff. Gave me a massive audio-nerd boner reading it.
I'm new to DACS. I figured go big at half price for your first reference model and I won't do many incremental costly upgrades.
Now I'm trying to figure out the smallest best DAC for my phone.
But I agree with make_moneys that the competition is a lot stronger than it was when this released so there are likely similar or better options now.
