Beware. Amazon doesn't pack these very well and at least 1 could be busted and leak out all over the other items in the box. It's happened twice to me. Refunds were given. But, it still a real pain cleaning the other items.

Beware. Amazon doesn't pack these very well and at least 1 could be busted and leak out all over the other items in the box. It's happened twice to me. Refunds were given. But, it still a real pain cleaning the other items.

My family has been using white costco jug brand foreverrrr and we tried Arm and hammer on clearance a few months back, it did its job. The smell is clean but a little different, we didn't notice any difference cleanliness wise

I used to buy these before switching over to Kirkland's detergent. If you have a Costco nearby, spend the extra $ and grab the Kirkland detergent. One of the highest rated detergents and it's at a very affordable price. This is good with free shipping, too.

Maybe I am just absurdly lucky, but I have purchased liquid laundry detergent dozens and dozens of times from Amazon, and I have never had one leak.

All test a little better on average.

The Oxi version of a&h is the better of their versions.


The Kirkland detergent is rated very highly, top 3.

Just make my own detergent these days, fill a 5 gallon bucket once a year for a family of 4. There are plenty of recipes online on how to do it, which costs maybe like $12.

Agreed. It's a 50/50 chance that it's packaged correctly. I no longer purchase large liquids from them.

Do you have a HE washer? I used to do this with our 20 year-old water guzzler with a bad rattle, but stopped when we got an LG frontloader for our new house with a septic tank, and I always wondered if the suds were really that bad ...
