I wouldn't put too much stock in this. I got another deal a couple of weeks ago on a 7cuft model from Walmart, and it showed up perfectly fine.

Walmart likely sells thousands of these and im sure the vast majority of them show up fine and the owner never leaves a review.

For all we know BB and walmart could use the same courier service in your area. Mine was delivered via FedEx.
Counterintuitive but freezers won't work well if it gets too cold or hot. Garage ready units are supposedly designed to work on a wider range of temperatures. Check the spec sheet and be sure the operating temp range is within what it will experience in your use depending on where you live.

Read alot of recent reviews and a lot of them says dent on delivery. Guess Walmart delivery service is pretty poor. Think I'll spend an extra 30 for the Bestbuy insignia one.

Anyone know if this is garage ready? Description mentions "whether you place it in basement, garage, ..." but sounds like that's more of an aesthetic description than a function one

As far as delivery items are shipped even higher up through warehouse distributors for larger appliance items.

Not on the inside, but there are two lights on the outside (front bottom corner) next to the temperature control. One stays on when it's plugged to show it has power and the other turns on only when the compressor is running.

Showed up undamaged, but did start to build up a bit of ice around the top lip fairly quickly (with very limited use) than an older similar sized chest freezer I had previously.

Hey Arkus, I wonder if weighting down the lid somewhat will close up what sounds like a slight gap and will keep the frost build up down?

Yes, garage ready. Bought for $159 less than 30 days ago. Happy with it.

55F is the correct answer. 10F is the lowest internal freezer temp.
