I don't recommend red dragon IMO razer is the cheapest mouse you should buy. Deathadder basic is $25 at Walmart any time you want it great mouse.
Deathadder essential is one of my faviout mouse used, but Razer has quality problem, durability is not good, not worth $25, I will take it at $10

I've had a couple red dragon products and they have all been solid.

I second this. Red dragon is okay for it's price but it's not quality. Those who vouch for red dragons quality probably haven't tried anything of real quality.

You should rank the quality based on price, in this price range, it is worth it. Razer and Logitech maybe better, but price is much higher.

Is there a better option at $15 price point? The $18 EVGA deal has issues with the mouse wheel, so I found this one that seems to have good overall reviews. Obviously, if I pay twice as much I should get a better product but I grabbed this cause I wasn't willing to pay more for a mouse and it seems reliable.

I've had multiple redragon products from headsets to controllers and mice. They've all been pretty good. This isn't a top tier brand, but it is a very competent one for the price

It's not on sale now, but Logitech G203 goes on sale time to time. I picked one up in Nov for $12 as a backup mouse. If you need one now, obviously that's a different story.

I tried a Red Dragon mouse 5 years ago and had issues where the sensor would spaz, and in a game I would suddenly be looking straight up or straight down while turning really fast. No issues for everyday use and feels comfortable in hand, though. So my wife uses it as a WFH mouse. I hope Red Dragon improved their products since then, since we could always use more competition in the budget friendly market.

I would buy this over Razer, so much money wasted on Razer for being cheap. They never last despite me liking the deathadder I gave up on my third one after failing.

This exactly. The infamous red dragon k552 was great for its price when it was $25. Red dragon mice aren't as well regarded as some of their keyboards (they also have really bad keyboards ie low profile mech)

I said it's okay for it's price. I wanted to clarify that it isn't high quality as those who claim it to be good quality didn't mention that it is considered good for it's price. Read my original comment. If those who claim it to be good quality don't mention price, why would you assume one would rank quality based on price?
Also Logitech 203 and steel series mice go on sale for same price or slightly higher very often and the quality is incomparable

Heads up. Just returned this mouse as if you squeeze the thumb area on the left side, it clicks the front most side button, without ever having touched it. Terrible for gaming as-is, needs to be fixed.
