I bought this last year. Not a fan. The blue LED is impossible to see in the daytime. The unit itself is not really intuitive and the display can be confusing. I have a schumacher one i prefer over this every time.

Sae connector is a standard plug male/female. With this you can switch out the end connection to a ring terminals for batteries like marine batteries or a lot of other custom connectors. You can also extend the length of the wire.

So I get that outside of trickle or maintenance mode this probably charges a battery faster but if im just interested in trickle or reconditioning automotive and marine batteries and don't care about the speed...wouldn't something as cheap as this work just as well vs the one in OP?:

Can this use as maintainer? lot of reviews says otherwise. Most of them complain its just turn off once full charged. Are they use wrong settings?
