It is not "proven". It was based on one study and many experts have a problem with the study for a few reasons including the age of participants as well as the fact that the body seems to produce excessive amounts of erythritol NATURALLY in the body before a cardiac event.
I haven't even seen any manufacturers stop adding this ingredient. Probably because if they followed every single study on the internet, all that would be left to include would be water. Possibly. Though I'm sure if it is not personally taken from the majestic alps, it's crap too.
Just tried to order this and Amazon added sales tax???! On food.....??! Wtf is up with that??!
States with soda taxes (IL and IN for instance) consider these sugary drinks regardless of ingredients. Sucks but makes sense. No way to police the thousands of different drinks out there to see which have calories v. which don't.

I'm aware of soda taxes, but they were charging me the regular 8% sales tax for my city.

It was undrinkable.. It sucks but body armor isn't gonna last much longer… Imo
Lyte uses Erythritol, ZERO does not. My preference is ZERO
