Yep, that's what I said on the last 89 cent deal. It's been like this for years, now. Production is in the US and cheaper quality.
Someone asked how I know it's different.
I said I know, b/c I've been buying Yardley for 20 yrs. It was very obvious when production shifted as it's less creamy and has less oil.

I got the lavender this time, b/c oatmeal is bland.

I didn't know that the made-in-america variant used weaker scents and ingredients. That's disappointing. I like to store the bars in my dressers and pan cupboards to give them a nice scent until I use them. I live in a studio apt that can be hot and swampy in summer with just a fan. My clothing in drawers and linen can get stale/mildewy smelling.

This isn't a deal unto itself. As mentioned above, you can find this product cheaper elsewhere. This does make a great filler item to get to 5 items on S&S which will kick in a discount not only on this items but the other items.
