Good cable modem - no intermittent internet issues?

I am having intermittent internet issues with Xfinity.
Xfinity says that there is an issue with the node but its not affecting my complex.
I use Arris 6190 - it seems they offer no support - Wondered if there is a firmware update but Arris does not have help there. Looked at another but Docsis 3.1 modem - they all having intermittent internet issues!
Which modem should I get if I am upgrading it?
Any other tips for this intermittent internet issue?
