Be sure to check how loud this case is if that's important to you. I have the H5 elite and it is loud. I modified it and added a mesh front to get better airflow and it's still very loud.

Are you using the stock fans? (I had faulty ones on several H7 cases that I tried recently.) Otherwise, I don't see why it would be louder than any other similar cases.

FYI, the white H7 Flow RGB (2023 version) is $100, just $10 more than the smaller H5 variant. But beware the included front fans. Had to return four cases because all 12 front fans were making whirring and coil whine noises.

I'm going to assume you're allowing the CAM software to control your fans. If so that's your problem. Use your motherboard fan headers and control your fans through your bios. CAM software is buggy and ramps up fans for no reason a lot of the times. Their updates get rolled back sometimes just due to bugs they create.

That's odd. I have the H5 Flow with two 140mm Artic fans in front and a 120mm air cooler for the CPU and the case is basically silent unless the GPU is running at 100%.

Whenever someone talks about a case being loud, I assume it's usually their specs, fans, or fan curve (not including glass hot boxes). Those people rarely even give enough detail in their original comment to provide anything useful to gleam either.

If I stick a i9-14900K in my nr200 without a change in cpu cooler, you bet your ass it's going to be loud (and loud in general)

On this case, though, it's a solid case. You control the rgb I believe through NZXT CAM and people absolutely hate that software. If you don't care about rgb, there's probably better cases for the money. The new cases from computex that's releasing sometime in late 2024 look like they have a better air flow design and rest at $70 or so msrp.

I have the non-RGB edition of this mid-tower case. While it's a great case and NZXT does a great job, I do have a couple of complaints as to why I wouldn't buy it again.

1) Only comes with 2 fans, the rear and angled bottom.
2) Lack of HDD drive bays, assuming that everything on your machine will be M4 SSDs
3) Not a lot of clearance above CPU for top fans
4) Max radiator size of 280mm, which has to be front mounted. The top mount is limited to 240mm unless you hack the case apart.
5) Lack of hose port for water cooling

I'd say #4 is the worst part and why current gen CPUs should not be put in a mid-tower case. Perhaps if you're only pulling 125w-150w TDP and using for light gaming it's fine, but 13th and 14th gen i7 and i9s will pull upwards of 253w TDP, which absolutely struggle on a 240mm AIO. You'll get tons of thermal throttling without sufficient cooling and it can't support a radiator size that can handle it. You will be forced to undervolt and power throttle your CPU just to keep things in check, which no enthusiast should be 'forced' into doing, if not by choice.

I was using EVGA flow control with a push/pull AIO because I knew the CAM software sucked. I went into my BIOS and optimized my fans and they are now quiet. Benchmark temps are a little higher than I prefer but a welcomed trade off. Thank you for the advice

Cases don't produce noise, the fans inside it do.
