Sweet spot for car detailing is 1,100 PSI and 1.5 gpm. RYOBI is the closest to the bar, costs less and has a better warranty.

*DO NOT buy the Ryobi refurbed units on Amazon as they are the old models

PRICE
- Karcher $100.60 (Amazon)
- Ryobi $99 (Home Depot)

PERFORMANCE
- Karcher is 850 psi and 1.44gpm
- Ryobi is 1050 psi and 1.43gpm

WARRANTY
- Karcher 1 year
- Ryobi 3 year

Karcher looks cooler, however, underperforms.

RYOBI TEST https://youtu.be/ef7e8Z60lg0?si=sWp_5TBO30j8Qyan

Hope that helps someone from making a bad buy here. For $99 the Ryobi is the better performer. If you're willing to push the budget a little higher….

@$220 Giraffe G20 w/retractable hose. 1,000psi / 1.6gpm https://www.amazon.com/Giraffe-To...0ee10&th=1

@$255 Swedish AVA. 1,100psi / 1.65gpm https://www.amazon.com/AVA-P45-Pr...9hdGY&th=1

@$349 Active 2.0 1,050psi / 2.0gpm https://www.amazon.com/Active-2-0...hdGY&psc=1

Next step up from here is really PRO-sumer and you'll be at $650+ with the Active 2.3 or the BigBoi.
This person means well, but is wrong. Electric pressure washers are phenomenal for car washing. Almost all of the electric pressure washers in this price range put out the same power despite specs. They all draw about 13A on a 120V circuit, so unsurprisingly the wortk output is nearly the same.

You can see all of the ones tested on Obsessed Garage. When they are actually tested with the same orifices and setups, they put out about the same power. The circuit is the limitation. It's a bogus thought to think one manufacturer can produce nearly double the work while both pulling the same amount of watts. Karcher is the leading manufacturer of pressure washers in the world, and they design their own pumps. I'd choose the Karcher every time.
This is the absolute best one at this price. Standard fittings. Motor stops running when not spraying (big deal many lack). Recommended by Obsessed Grage after testing everything on the market. Makes as much power as any of the other ones at this price no matter what the specs claim. Get it if you want an electric. You won't do better without spending a lot more. For instance a Kranzle for over $1400.

The intitial setup is fine. Plan on getting a nice 50' hose and better gun one day. I bought everything on sale, but these are what I run for a nice car wash setup:

Looking for a pressure washer to use a foam cannon washing the car. I do like the footprint of the cube version. Looks like they dropped their warranty to 1 year?? I thinking it would be a safer bet to pick up a craftsman or Ryobi w/ 3 year warranty where I can just bring it to the big blue/orange store

Its a max of 1.2 GPM, its gonna probably just for light duty work. Dont expect it to be all that good at anything else.

Generally gotta go gas for anything decent. Aim for around 4 GPM

Edit: This power washer listed is great for washing cars, attaching to foam cannons and light duty stuff.

I have this one and a gas one, I would not recommend the electric one for power washing a double driveway.

that's why I recommend a gas powered one with a larger gpm to run a surface cleaner.

If you want electric, Ryobi has larger units that look like gas and have up to 3k PSI with about 1.7-1.9 GPM. I had one about a year and it was fantastic. I used my mom's smaller unit like this one a couple of months ago and was very underwhelmed comparatively. The big caveat is that it is much more expensive overall.

Other than the form factor is this the same as the cube? I'd actually prefer the cube for a fixed garage installation but it costs more than this one with the wheels

Call me crazy but could your essentially make this into the "cube" by disassembling some of it? Might not be perfect but it's an option.

Is this strong enough for cleaning a concrete patio before sealing it? Would it be an upgrade from a Sun Joe? My Sun Joe sprays water out at the hose connection.

What is your use case? If you're washing cars forget PSI so long as it's around 1k. What you do need is GPM at around 2.8, that would be your target. A good pressure washer that I've been using is the Comet Static 1700 with quick disconnects.
