What happens if you cancel college football after order done? Possibly more cheaper Xbox alone if you are not into college football game.

Very close to the type of deal I am looking for. Was going to get college football for our ps5, but my boys horde that thing and play fortnite or whatever on it. So was hoping this week being prime week would yield some deals on additional console.

Have an xbox series s already, so the only downside for me here is the physical disc. Considering the 40% discount, reselling the CFB disc may be better than simply returning it prorated. Depends what the receipt does I guess.

Curious for more data from those who buy this. Strong deal for sure if you wanted the game, and a new xbox.

Oh, I see what they are doing now that I have this in cart. It's 20% off the console only (so $100), that they prorate to both items. Then with redcard, I've got the total at $446 before tax. The additional 20% should get the total to around $355 before tax, but I'll need to get on my wife (the teacher's) account to get that additional 20% in there.

The trick still works if you return the game before pick-up online if not interested in it. Did something similar w/ my last series X purchase from Target to make ~$350 net. This is slick for those who have 20% off teacher/student.

I think it's still a good deal considering consoles aren't being discounted much right now (we will see if that changes w/ prime day).

That being said, not really worth returning the game, unless it's really a game you're not interested in. I just bought it and it seems that target prorated/distributed the discounts. So by returning the game, you'd get 40ish, ~$50 back with tax. Actually a really cheap copy of the game. My qualm is that I'd prefer the digital copy and to have it on release day.

I got mine for cheaper after taxes last year from Target with a game. There was a special sales price on the Series X and some Target members had a 10% or 20% coupon on their account in addition to the 5% credit card discount. This was mentioned in a prior slickdeals.net posting.
