I have this Ridgid oscillating tool. I still prefer my wired Chicago electric oscillating tool from HF.

I don't own ridgid tool so can't speak about the quality but I really like the way dewalt design the blade change mechanism. It's faster to switch blades.

This is a damn good deal with the batteries. In for one to replace my harbor freight cheapo plug in and get a couple extra batteries to boot. With lifetime warranty on all. Thanks OP

Well, it's 'on sale' with a 4.0 Max battery and charger, but its still $199

I have this exact model and so far has worked fine for me. I am a homeowner, DIYer and do a fair amount of repairs/builds. So far I have not had a need to go back to my plug in model, and I have plenty of batteries so the brushed version has not been a problem.

I have the brushless Ridgid and Dewalt. Both work great and I like my ridgid stuff, But the speed and ease of changing the blade on the Dewalt is amazing. I can't tell you how many times I'll switch the angle for a better approach.

my rigid multitool on/off switch lever broke, twice.
Then I installed a toggle switch instead of doing warranty.
