I bought these from Yamaha about 3 months back for $60. No ANC but that wasn't an issue for me. I got them to use on conference calls at work since my crappy Logitech headphones took forever to connect. These connect immediately and work great for why I got them. I took them to the gym a few times, and they also performed well there but I could see they could fall out if you were taking a long run. Controls are buttons and not touch-sensitive which I prefer on earbuds. .
I found nam2212's "story" very useful, and gave a thumbs up. I appreciate that kind of information; your comment, not so much. Cheers.

The TW-E7B model from an earlier deal was too rich for my budget. But this one is really tempting. They have been on my radar for a while, and I might just finally go for it.

Seems like a good price point for a brand name. Any SDers review on this one?

Summary:
You just have to give up active noise cancellation and top-tier levels of durability. As mentioned, we're also fans of the more well-rounded Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless and Anker Soundcore Space A40, both of which boast active noise cancellation. And, if you don't want to spend for Jabra's most expensive fitness-friendly models, the Jabra Elite 3 ($79) is an excellent, no-frills alternative for about half the price of the Yamaha pair.

Reviewed at price of $125-149
At this price point possilble backup or Non workout/ANC needed conditions. I already have two other backup pairs of Jabra Elites so passing.

I was interested in the Yamaha but couldn't find much in the way of reviews and the little bit I could find didn't seem very good. The Samsung seem to have decent reviews but at the time were too expensive for a product that is designed to be disposable so I went with Earfun Air Pro 3 and have liked the sound so much I bought a second pair. https://www.amazon.com/EarFun-Air...MYSGQ&th=1

Seems to be a good deal at this price point. Note that these were released in late 2022, but the consensus seems to be that they have excellent sound for earbuds even at their original price point of around $150ā€¦ and they have better than expected support for advanced sound codecs. For those that can live without ANC, seem like a good choice for brand new, as this price is well below Refurb pricing on high end ANC capable Sony, Bose and Jabras.

The Yamaha TW-E5B earbuds deliver an excellent audio experience for the price, plus support a solid range of Bluetooth codecs. They might even offer the best sound of any in-ears in the under-$150 segment. You just have to give up active noise cancellation and top-tier levels of durability. As mentioned, we're also fans of the more well-rounded Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless and Anker Soundcore Space A40, both of which boast active noise cancellation.
