Nice deal
If Hisense got their banding/posterization issues under control then this is truly a heck of a deal
I know the viewing angle will be bad...but I guess you know that with a Hisense or TCL television
banding/posterization was more of an issue on the 55 inch size. Unfortunately I don't know of a current VA panel with a "good" viewing angle. At least according to Rtings. There are only a few VA based TV's with good viewing angles and they tend to cost a lot more. Not sure why these manufacturers dropped ADS Pro this year. But I think the U8N 75 inch is ADS Pro.

I have the Hisense U8H from 2 years ago and the banding posterization is definitely an issue
I would say it was an issue as well with the 2023 K series models
Viewing angle is bad. I own the Samsung QN90a as well and its amazing the difference in viewing angles between it and the Hisense U8H
Granted the Samsung doesnt have OLED viewing angles but its bearable
I dont know why Hisense( and TCL) havent adopted some technology like Sony/Samsung that gave their VA panels a much better viewing angle
According to the above comments - it looks like the 75" is a VA panel, as there are complaints about the viewing angle (I have never heard of an IPS display having viewing angle issues).

75" U8N has an ADS Pro Panel. Here's the 75" U8N review from Rtings. The 75" (ADS Pro) received a 6.8/10 score for viewing angle and the 65" (VA) received a 5.3/10 score for viewing angle. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/75u8n

Price is probably the reason. A Q90D or Bravia 7 don't have great viewing angles and are more than twice the price. There is no Samsung or Sony LCD in this price range with good viewing angles. I had an X90L and it didn't have good viewing angles, not terrible though. The Q90A does have good viewing angles, but has that terrible rainbow antiglare effect too. The QN90C from last year has good viewing angles and no rainbow effect(ADS Pro Panel). However, the 75 inch model, which is what has been posted here is an ADS Pro panel in the US. It has good viewing angles. I've checked it out a few times. I can't speak for banding and posterization.

What panel does at the 85U8N have? That is also on discount on Amazon at 1798 USD
