Hisense is a Chinese company so it checks out. Anybody got this tv and is an American football fan? I'm contemplating this but holding off for a x90l sale that's never appearing. My h8f has held me down for 5 years but I hear terrible things about Hisense these days

Anyone have a recommendation for a cheap 75" that's going on a covered patio? Trying to keep it under $600 since I'm expecting to replace this in a few years. I've been trying to find something that will be bright for us to watch sports on. Glare won't be an issue since we have motorized shades as well.
I have a Hisense Google "Smart" TV. The Google TV interface is slow as molasses and poorly designed in terms of usability. I've grown to hate the UI and the remote control.
Hisense actually runs an old version of ANDROID TV (release 11), which is 5 years out of date and long superseded by ANDROID 13, which itself has been deprecated by Google and replaced by GOOGLE TV. You'll only discover this by digging into the system settings because Google apparently changed the name of Android TV to Google TV! When I spoke with Hisense clueless customer support, they told me that ALL of their TV's still use this old, old OS TV version.
I purchased my 55" U6K on Oct 25, 2023 from Amazon and it had been manufactured just a few weeks before. Yet, when I checked this brand new TV, the OS security patch level was only updated to Feb 5 2023 (8 months out of date).
I hadn't checked in a while but just looked and I see that my "SmartTV" security patch level is now updated all the way to Nov 5 2023 (gee, thanks) and the kernel is now at Feb 5 2024, so security is currently 9 months out of date and the kernel 6 months. This doesn't sound very "smart"!
I sometimes wonder if there are any vectors that hackers can take advantage of through SmartTV's, given that they are an entry point to your network and the only firewall protection is on the router. If so, I am sure that Hisense TV's would be a good candidate to explore, given how far behind they stay in updates.
I wouldn't buy a TV using Google TV OS and I am unlikely to buy another Hisense TV.

This model (2024) is on Google TV 12, which is probably Android TV 12, which is the same OS running on other more expensive sets such as the Sony Bravia OLED 8
