60Hz refresh rate. How good can the picture be?
Literally has nothing to do with picture quality, some people prefer 60. Also it's a 70" for $400, not exactly LG OLED demographic

Right. Can't expect it to be great for $400.

I'd presume that anyone buying this TV would only be doing so to have a large TV for watching Netflix or movies which it would probably do a serviceable job with. Rtings didn't have the 2024 model (but I didn't search terribly hard), but here is their review of the 2022 F50 model.

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...a/f50-qled

It looks like they felt that years model had some issues with judder on 24 fps sources, so movies might not look as smooth as they should. If anyone has this model and can confirm that the newer model has the ability to match the frame rate of the content, that would be very useful information for prospective buyers.

Gotta be careful with 4k Insignia brand tvs. I've had two. One completed failed after just two years, other one is going strong. Would only buy if dirt cheap. At this price you could get a nicer TV that would probably last twice as long.

Have known between several individuals 7 insignia TVs over the past 5 years. 4 died within 3 years. 3 still going. Quality in terms of lasting, is another brand this terrible??

This doesn't show on Best Buy as a QLED. Is the TV a QLED or just a regular LED?

Cheap bigger TV. You are prob better off waiting a few weeks for Black Friday deals though…
I scooped the 85 inch Sony for $499 a few weeks back from Costco so I'm not in the market but there will absolutely be better TV's around this price range coming up soon. Additionally and this is just IMO I'd rather get a better quality 65 inch than a mediocre-ish 70.. if this was a 75 sure I could see possibly being on the fence.. I'm not bashing at all just throwing thoughts out there. Cheers

I need a cheap tv 75-80 for outside and I'm debating this one. Anyone have recommendations for anti glare film?

I had an older Insignia and the LEDs burned out. Would have been $60 for the LEDS when I paid $99 for the 50' TV Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
(apparently they set the brightness at 100% which causes it, u can turn it down in the system settings tho)

The F50 Series has always been QLED... and It is also mentioned on the Best Buy item page. Scroll down and click on the FEATURES section. Quantum Dot Technology is mentioned in the first paragraph. That is the same paragraph that I copied into the thread description when I posted the deal.
