I also have this one with another brand.
For anyone best to get this valve to replace the one they come with.
Just for the extra insurance that you can cut the water off to just the bidet. If ever a leak.

I also have this other cheap one. I like the handle a little better. But not a big difference. Also stay away from some of the brands with a cheaper plastic connector.

I also planned of trying these out at first. Then buying a $400.00 TOTO bidet. But now feel the cons are not worth it. And will keep these.

First have to run electric. Next can be noisy since they have a small water tank that has to keep turning on. To keep water warm 24/7.
Then with all the extras they come with. It takes up a lot more space. So a elongated toilet can become a smaller round toilet.
You get used to the cool water. I dont think warm water is worth the cons. And to pay the electric bill for it to keep heating 24/7
Bidets are particularly life-changing for when you come down with a stomach bug or have one of those really spicy poops. Wiping over and over gets painful when you get a case of the runs.

It's just logical. Do you take a shower by wiping yourself with dry paper towels?
never used something like this but i just got an actual bidet toilet seat about six weeks ago and I agree when people say it's life changing. heated water, heated seat, and heated dry....it's amazing not having to wipe anymore. i just feel so much cleaner.

I purchased one of these for about $50 a couple of months ago to finally try "The Bidet Lifestyle" and can recommend it. It's good if you haven't used a bidet before and are unsure about using one, as it's an inexpensive way to easily add one without committing to a more expensive or fancier one.

Having a bidet hasn't been as life-changing for me as some people claim it has been for them, but I do appreciate having it, and I do use it when I use that bathroom.

I like this model. Bought it at the beginning of covid and bought another brand later on. Replaced it with this one.

Only criticism would be that I used a different hose on the second one after replacing the first. The original got rusty sharp, and started leaking after a couple years. (I don't think it stands up over time to the condensation it generates)

I bought this exact model in 2020, it is still going strong. The knob broke once in 2022 because one of the kids kicked it. I emailed the company and they sent a new knob for free. I highly recommend this one.

Is this better than the $15 bidets that are all over Amazon? The star ratings are the same, though I haven't done the fake spot.

I have Luxe W85 which is quite similar to this one in features and footprint. In general I feel most of the brands use very similar quality of materials for the plastic, hose and assembly hardware; so you can't go wrong. While not life changing, I also feel I cannot go too long without a bidet anymore - they are super useful and pay-off in the long run as you use less paper tissue rolls.

I have 3 different brand bidets in my house and it is the worst. The dial has to be turned off at the exact location to prevent dripping.

Is the dial what makes it the worst? Like if the dial wasn't an issue, would it be comparable to the others ones you have?

I've been looking at this one since it's recommended by Wirecutter.
Is there another one that most people think is better than this one?

I have this exact same one and the dial has a huge sweet spot to turn it off, and it clicks pretty loud when you do so I'm not sure if this has gotten worse for you over time, but it's extremely easy to turn off (have had it for about 3 months now in my spare bathroom).

I have both the model in OP's listing and a random brand (SAMODRA) with multiple buttons on it from Amzn. I much prefer the SAMODRA model, even though it is "bulkier" with the added interface on the side (more buttons), due to the fact you can lock in a setting for the water pressure since it is a separate knob from the "On" button. Then you just press the "On" button to turn it on with the same pressure every time.

On models like the one in this listing, you are manually increasing or decreasing the pressure each time. If you don't mind the bulkiness of the button interface on the side, get the SAMODRA one. And if you're worried about longevity, all my BioBidet products have broken down within 2 years, so you aren't getting much in terms of the name. I got the SAMODRA since it was one of the cheapest options and its still been going strong with no issues for about a year now.

EDIT: link to the preferred product, which is currently $20 after clipping the coupon

Have it installed on the 2 in the house (don't forget the T-Value to make adjustment (pressure) & maintenance easier).

Actually dread thinking about having to drop a deuce outside of home (uncultured swines, having to WIPE away filth /s)
