1. Inside vs outside
2. Clear vs tinted
3. Paintable vs unpaintable
4. Durability (how long to last)
Answer those four questions and step into your local store go ask a pro, and pick it up. As others have noted 100% silicone you cannot paint, so that is one of those parameters. Durability is crap but you can gauge that 15 vs 40 year, the 40 year may last a few years longer but these ratings are like tools -- highly inflated and in some lab conditions made up by the industry itself.
Also caulk is a timely buy, you go and get it fresh as possible, so trying to save $1 unless you need it now and it meets your requirements will be an issue if it sits for 2 years trying to find a specific use for it.

Was hoping their "paintable" sealant was on sale as well (need to caulk a light fixture to brick), but it looks like that product is no longer available...
The 100% silicone white and clear are the only caulks offered by Gorilla at this time.

They go bad fast, so 12 months and may good, maybe dried bad.
Most sealants not designed for water contact will be fail.
There's aquarium sealants, which typically go on glass, so you'll need to try to see if it sticks you tanks. Definitely waterproof if it sticks.
And there's epoxy for marine use (jb weld has one).
