Bought it for $500 when it first came out. VA panel, it produces some sort of artifact if you use vrr mode from what I remembered, maybe they fixed it. You can look that up on reddit. Otherwise screen is pretty bright and colors are great. But honestly get something else like the GIGABYTE M34WQ

Freesync and gsync are both variable refresh rate implementations. Freesync works on all GPUs across AMD, Intel, and nvidia as it is built into the DisplayPort and HDMI spec. You don't need it to say gsync on the box for it to work with your nvidia GPU if that's what you're thinking.

I recently switch from two 32" monitors to a single curved 34" monitor and I like it much better for gaming. It feels more immersive and it's center in your standard seating position. I also like it for work use. Two applications side by side works well.
