Yes great for productivity. I'm on a 3060ti and haven't gamed yet but I expect the experience will be poor with that card but works fine for 8k via DP.
Also, the 240hz mode only works with a few AMD cards. None of the nVidia cards do that as they don't support the needed DP or HDMI versions.

Been using it since launch for both and I absolutely love it. So much resolution to work it and despite a 4090 having some difficulty driving some higher fidelity games at max resolution, it's incredible. Particularly for racing games.
Need that 5090 to drop to take advantage at 240hz, but 120 has been perfectly fine.
