This might work but you likely have to do a few spray and clean with window cleaner and paper towels first for better effect and not contaminating the pad material. Oils and dust can stick to the glass from being exposed to us humans and if you can get most of that off first then something like this can really put the finishing touch on the glass for reducing fogging in the future.

Personally I just clean the inside of the windshield like 3-4 times, wash my hands to remove oils/dirt, then take a dry paper towel that I haven't touched with my dirty hands and basically do a hand polish, as it will pick up any residual smears and use a light source to look for anything remaining. This could likely reduce effort for the last step I do.
I've read a microfiber dampened with vinegar will remove the film that causes fogging
Windex makes a cleaner with vinegar in it that works pretty well for this and also doesn't make your car smell quite as much like vinegar.

Does this work better than the other brands? I tried one from a different brand, and it was a pain to get the swirls wiped off. Once the hard work was done, it did help in the months after.

So i am struggling to determine what this product is - is it just a branded sponge, OR is it some sort of sponge that applies Rainx antifog?

I ask because our cars all tend to get a film of something (probably plastic plasticizer) on them that is a pain in the ass to get rid of without streaks. Even my 2 week old brand new car has this. If there were a real solution for this issue I wouldn't mind paying more for a product that actually fixed it.

I'll try this out. I keep getting fogging on the inside of my windshields and I don't smoke or vape. I'm starting to think Armor All I used on the dashboard is releasing chemicals that coat the windshield whenever the sun shines on it because I do use that on my dashboard once a year.
