Costco is at 0.00175/sheet and this is, even assuming the best cost per roll on the 32, 0.00286 after credit. Not a deal unless you prefer triple ply or something.

This must be some special TP.
I'll stick with Kirkland for now or wait for Charmin Ultra Strong deals. Someone suggested Bidet plus drying towels and eliminate TP... I thought we were evolving not going back, next they'll recommend wiping with leaves. Bidet is excellent because it really helps, but cotton drying towels????
And 2 days ago the 9 rolls were $5.50 thanks to a glitch.

It is now made in Mexico and is much tougher compared to what it used to be.

Don't torture your tush with Kirkland toilet paper. Your rear end will reward you with a standing ovation

Has anyone tried the other Kirkland toilet paper Costco sells now? I think it is in pink or purple packaging (vs standard version's blue). I think it's marked as thicker? Has anyone tried?

It's clearly implied that by me saying TP is a scam, doesn't mean that the USE of tp is a scam but the cost. I forgot to baby it down to an elementary school level.
But the average cost to get rolls of tp to a store/warehouse ...etc, is about .07 to .25 cents a roll. This depends on a LOT of factors, but that's the break even point. However, YOU nor I buy tp at .50cents a roll, which would be a the very least , a 100% pure profit to the company. Under the best of circumstances consumers in the U.S. pay about .75 cents a roll which for the companies is at least 200% pure profit (assuming the break even point of .25cents) or if that point is only .10 cents then it would be 650% of pure profit
It usually cost companies about $500 to make 1 metric ton of tp. Sooo don't tell me the cost we pay isn't a scam especially for the premium stuff which is always like a 600 to 2000% pure net profit for the companies. Just do a google search , some very basic math and find out for yourself, how much a roll cost for them to break even on a roll of tp and how much they actually sell it for, it's shocking!!
