Can't recommend it more. It's a great set that I use all the time although I mainly use the chameleon tool.
People complaining about Starlock there is tons of adapters and converters you can buy to use any other system with Starlock so I don't really understand the complaint when every tool has it's own special system but there is converters and adapters to make them all cross compatible for cheap...
I don't use it often enough for it to matter as I've gone through a total of 1 Starlock oscillating blade in a year so the cost is pretty irrelevant to me but the tool worked great for it. I shouldn't even say I've gone through a blade as I'm still on the first one but it cut through some steel bars fantastically.
It also does a good job sanding as it has low speed settings for lazy hand sanding equivalent to not wreck more fragile sanding jobs.

This is a weird combo in my humble opinion and I think the set linked below gives you much more value and is much more useful for the average homeowner, someone new to tools or professional. You get an impact driver and drill and as you said you may find little use for the saw but I can assure you will for the impact driver. You will end up using the impact more than the drill/driver if you try one. The Bosch impact driver is my number one used tool in both contractor and homeowner settings. It can be used for putting on cabinet hardware or hanging cabinets or taking apart a computer case yet able to drive a lag or 3" screw when need be. I even use it to spin spade bits for electrical work. The brushed set of the combo used to get down to $99 on occasion and may do so again.

The starlock blades themselves are nice quality. Difficult to justify the price yes, but if you're using the oscillating tool once or twice a year the blades will last awhile.
