dang. G60 is $650 at bestbuy and samsung. amz has it for cheaper at 610

MSI MAG 271QPX same price at BestBuy. Go with whatever brand you like more.

Both have 3 year warranties. Anyone know if either covers burn in?

Edit: this corsair warranty covers burn in. So does MSI. Toss up.

I haven't shopped for monitors for a long while.. Is this normal to have sales on monitors this time of the year or is there a price crash going on with a surplus in inventory?

Spec-wise they seem very similar though the Corsair does have additional ports on the back (4x Type-A USB hub with KVM, 1x Type-C USB Upstream, 1x 3.5mm) , warranty-wise Corsair looks to have a slightly better dead-pixel policy too if i'm reading them right.
