I have the Sonos Ace which are good, but I feel the clamping force is a little too strong.

How do these Bose QuietComforts feel? And how do the AirPods Max feel?

There was once a sale for $130-$150, Renewed product, but that was a slick deal.

Headphone guy here.

If you must have Apple, pull the trigger. If not there's 5 other headphones that are on sale right now that are much better and hundreds of dollars cheaper.

QC, QC ultra, XM4, XM5, Bose 700

Buying something in 2024 without usb c is an automatic no for me. ANC is amazing on the iPhone pro max , but sound is so mid that soundcore headphones can compete with them.

Also they are heavy and uncomfortable. You're paying for the brand. Just my 2 cents.

You're paying for the ability to hook up to Apple devices in a trivial sense. I have a LOT of Apple devices (phones, pads, Macs) and the ability to not need to re-pair anything (as long as I am logged in with my Apple ID, it just pairs and just shows up, all automatically) is a game changer. My Sony high end whatever are a PITA because I always have to re-pair everything every time I want to use it, and if I want to flip to another device 20 minutes later, to time re-pair again. Ain't nobody got time for that....

I just returned the Beats Studio Pro and purchased the Bose Quiet Comfort. The clamping force on the Beats is very uncomfortable. The Bose is very comfortable. Easy pairing to my Apple products. On/off switch. Quick tap to change between noise cancellation and transparent. Superb noise cancellation. Knocks out TV noise.

I purchased from Amazon instead of Costco because I wanted the hard case. I think only the big box stores like Costco and Sams have the soft case. The Bose folds easily into the hard case.
