Folks, these aren't deals!!! The PC market is under price wars, poor demand, and the MSRP prices are finally back to what they always were pre-covid: suggested prices only those who don't care, misinformed, or can't wait few weeks for next round of sales to buy.

Posting best buys weekly deals is nothing short of free advertising for the retailer. OP has always posted deals, but lately he's simply regurgitating the promotional calendar of retailers.

Wish SD would revamp their app finally to create a tab for normal sale prices vs deals. I'm sure they make enough revenue to invest in programming, especially as software development costs have plummeted. Suppose there's enough newcomers making posts on the front page that it doesn't matter to them. Hence why these posts are truly counterproductive. Easy to ignore, but it's the similar effect as thread capping.
This is a lot better than the ~$800 core ultra 1XX/ryzen 8000 'deals' getting way too many upvotes.

The best deal so far from this generation of Intel mobile processors. Only seems to be 60hz but response times are great.

Cannot add ram to this later, which would be a downside for some.

What are the speakers like on this laptop? I recently purchased a previous-gen Acer Swift Go 16 and they were a dealbreaker for me so I had to return it. I like the laptop other than the speakers.

Are you suggesting the next round of sales, whenever they come, will be better than these black Friday deals?

Historically computer prices are the lowest on BF/CM so

Fairly certain this is actually 120hz its weird the best buy specs don't state it though. I tried to link the acer website but the link is not working for some reason. I have a very similar older version of this laptop with a 7840u and its really a great laptop except the battery life. This is a really good deal imo I was already telling people to get this for 1000 over the amd version for 800 but this at 900 is really good imo. Lunar lake is much more efficient and the bigger battery (69whr vs 57whr) makes it alot better than the last gen 7840u version of the swift edge I have. It is heavier but its still super thin and light for a 16 inch laptop.
