Thank you for pointing that out

Are these aimed at kids? Or people with small hands? My girls have shown an interest in playing and was wondering if this would be a good fit

They're good for kids and for people who want something on the go to noodle on. These miKro guitars have been on sale for less, like $130, for the plain colors.

Damn, guitars are getting so cheap. Imagine being a little kid and getting one of these.

Short scale does mean the frets are a little closer together. It also means a little less string tension. That means you can bend the strings easier, but they are floppier and less controlled for playing fast when talking about the same thickness of strings. A shorter scale also typically doesn't sustain as long, and intonation (or eveness of sound) is usually worse.

They are great for kids, but some people just like a little guitar while sitting in a recliner. It's an awesome beginner's guitar. If they are teens, you should probably just go full size.

Being a signature model I would assume Paul gets a cut, hence the higher price.

From what I recall, some people suggest thicker strings to help it stay in tune, and maybe better tuners.

Somewhat ironic, since Paul Gilbert has gigantic hands.

I got one wild cheap because it was broken. The electronics were a a mess, but after cleaning it up, these are SUPER fun to have around. I think it shipped with 13s and I brought it down to 10s, which has been generally wild. But it feels like you're a super hero guitar player. Tuning has been surprisingly stable
