This a solid upgrade over a 4070 founders? Running ultra wide 2k oled.
This is a great card but I don't think I'd make that upgrade. If you need the vram for AI then Maybee, but otherwise I'd wait till next gen. The 4070 is limited on vram but still a pretty capable card.

i would not, but only because it's not enough of a difference to be worth the $ and time. the old rule of every 3 years or 3 generations, whichever is longer, is still a pretty good one.
my upgrade history IIRC (can you figure out how old I am?)
- riva128 + s3
- voodoo2 + matrox millenium
- 9800gt
- gtx 460
- gtx 670
- gtx 770 (GALAX sent me this one under warranty when the 670 died)
- gtx 1080
- gtx 4080S
Looking at this comparison to mine, I think I can wait for an 8k series. I thought the Red Devil series was much higher end than ASRock but guess not. https://www.gpu-monkey.com/en/com...rmula_16gb
