This is one tool I'd love to own, but I just can't justify the price over the current pneumatic nailer I already own...at least not for the amount of times I need one. If you were in the trades though (and not a hobbyist) this would be a great tool to have...

Same boat buddy. I've been using my nailer a lot this week working on windows. I really wish I had this and didn't need to mess with my compressor and hose...but I use it very infrequently, it wouldn't make sense to buy one (of course I'm looking at this deal though). Maybe if it gets closer to the $100 mark I'll bite. Again, it makes no sense but I know me and slickdeals.

Oh that's not bad. I'll keep an eye on it.
Is there any battery compatibility or adapters?

It's $10 more at Home Depot, which can prevent warranty claim issues. My usage is woodworking over construction carpentry, so trying to decide if $200 is worth not needing to fire up the compressor just to put a back on a bookcase, cabinet, etc.

I'm the opposite. I can't justify an air compressor etc for infrequent use. It'd be the same price as buying this since I'm in the Dewalt ecosystem already

One approach I use that has been great thanks to Slickdeals, is that when I have a project coming up, I 'll set an alert for the dream tool I'd like (but that realistically will hardly be used much) and buy it when it pops up. Then I do my project at my leisure and when I'm done, I post it on Craigslist, FB marketplace, etc for a decent price that is often close to what I got it for (which thanks to SD means it'll still be a good bit less than what big stores have em for) and that way the new buyer gets a deal, I got to use a cool tool and never had the time pressure nor extra expense of renting the tool. HTH!

A huge benefit for me is also reclaiming the space that once-in-blue-moon stuff takes up! I'm all out of room! Lol

What are the practical uses for crown stapler? I have a air stapler and used it like once... It was part of a bundle... Furniture upholstery comes to mind lol
