Thanks for posting. Was afraid they would have Milk Bone biscuits on sale …. And then my dog would make me join Sam's Club again (he hates Kirkland biscuits from Costco). No biscuits on sale. No Sams Club membership to buy. Whew!
My dog enjoys the Buddy Biscuits (Peanut Butter Flavor) from Walmart at around $4.97/box. Might give those a try.
$ off information, without actual price it's useless.
people looking for deals wont go there because they dont know the price, at what point will the Sams Club CEO will realize they are losing customers with this business tactic. Im not really too sure what is up with the next gernation marketing busness graduates, who in the world would have recommended this business model.

Can someone who owns the 15-piece hard anodized nonstick cookware set comment on the quality and your experience with the set?
$120 is tempting for a full set with lids included

1. Price off ads allow them to have variable regional pricing.
2. As far as effectiveness, I'm guessing it depends on the price of the product and how much it is discounted. For a $6 product, our ad department has convincing evidence that a $2 off ad brings in more customers than an ad showing the $4 discounted price. Also an ad showing 15% off is more effective than showing 90c off.

No it doesn't do anything extra compared to stating the actual price..
If you say Mfg retail price is $20 and you want to sell it in Texas for $13 and $14 in Az.
Telling people in Tx it's $7 off and telling people in Az it's $6 off does allow variable price by region.
But it tells people nothing useful.
Telling people in Tx it's $13 and telling people in Az it's $14 also allows variable price by region, while telling them everything they need to know.
If they want me to read their ad booklet they need to add price. If they want to say it's $6 off at $14 that's fine. But they aren't.
So I throw them into the recycling unread.

I stopped taking food advice from my dog when I saw him eating deer droppings.

Clicking on the product links above shows the actual price.
