It's basically just a LCD with small LED array backlighting. The key advantage over a normal LCD screen (which uses bigger LEDs in less dense arrays) is much better local backlight brightness control, which improves the contrast ratio dramatically.
The contrast is not as good as OLEDs, which emit their own light and can fully turn off each pixel and produce perfect blacks. However, LCD panels have some advantages over OLED in terms of burn-in, reliability, brightness etc.
Edit: to make it clear, Mini-LED displays are technologically different from OLED panels but they can be extremely good in the own right - and the panel here seems rock solid.

That's well within tolerance if you've been around a while.
Not sure if it's LTT and similar YouTubers causing the hyperbole, but average temps used to be way higher, all the way up into the 2010s.
Before all these boutique kits came out, PC cooling was a lot more DIY with box fans and Chevelle radiators.
Somehow, we survived.
