I've had the opposite experience, I have this pan (got it from Amazon) and love it.

I've had it for about 7 months with zero issues and before that used a family member's same pan who has had it for years and also doesn't have any issues with it (using theirs is why I got one myself).
If you are near a Costco Business Center, this 2 pack is $26.99 in-store.

If you only need one, the equivalent pan from Sam's Club is $13.98 [samsclub.com]. Even though they are branded as Member's Mark, they virtually identical to the Tramontina pan and also made in Brazil.
Same here. We bought our 2 pack in 2020. They get used ever day. Wife & I both love them.

I bought my Mom a set in 2021. She still uses them several time a week and loves them.

These are junk. Thin and rounded bottom, handles are too heavy so they will never stay flat on the stove. I had 2 and discarded both.

I assume you and the previous commenter with similar good experience both have gas stoves. I imagine they can sit OK on the grates but not on my glass electric top.

Agreed. These are some of the best non stick pans made imo. We have the 14" as well and it's been excellent. Don't expect any nonstick to last forever though.

Echoing what you said, I use mine twice a day, don't even use oil or cooking spray with it and it's excellent.

No idea then what was wrong with mine. They had almost no contact with the stove and always fell on the handle side. Maybe I got defective once. Twice.

Best non stick pan, and they are cheap enough to throw away after a year or so once the non-stick stops working. Don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on pans. $15 bucks for a pan, why not.

Mom & I both have flat top electric stoves.

We got our pans from Amazon. I don't know if that makes a difference.

I suggest going cast iron instead of laminated poison. I've had these. They're just like every other pan. They flake off into the food and get scratched up, even when using only plastic and wood utensils.
Used mine for years, and they never flaked off. I don't use plastic or wood utensils, only soft spatulas.

Is it possible you wound up with some of their pans that are made in china? These are made in Brazil and are pretty universally acclaimed. To be fair, their Chinese made cookware is generally considered above average as well.

I have the larger one of these as well. I think I received a small one but I think I gave that to my daughter. I'm going to put one of these in the camper and keep one first a spare. Doesn't flake or scratch and I use it daily.
