Some have decent prices but they are ugly/not popular colora, other standard colored Stanley and Hydro bottles are not really a deal

If you like ambient temp water, these are fine. I know some people with sensitive teeth prefer it. If you need hot or cold drinks (I need cold water and ice), hold out for a stainless double or triple wall tumbler. I live in the desert, and even indoors with AC, an uninsured tumbler only holds ice for an hour or so in the summer.

I wonder if you've observed this in multiple locales or just the hospital you frequent.

I think what you're saying has some merit. I remember back in the early 2000s there was a clinic where all the RNs drove RAV4s. Obviously many choices in cars but they can be clubby like that. Same for shoes. One finds a pair that's comfortable on their feet next thing you see all the nurses wearing the same.

The healthcare environment doesn't really promote individuality over other work settings. I drove a Miata and everyone in the hospital was calling me gay and making fun of me because I should be driving a Lexus or BMW like all the other NPCs...then one day someone smashed up my Miata and I asked to have security review the security tape and got laughed out saying they did me a favor by smashing up my "gay" car.

I use my daily for use with drink mixes ala crystal light. I like that it's plastic, has 32oz capacity (2packs of drink mix), and its transparent so I can see that it's fully dissolved. Lid holds tight when closed so no real leakage when shaking to mix.
