It sure is and a great deal at $300 off normal price. The owner of this company is Tom V who is the V in SVS. He founded SVS and then split to open his own company so he knows a thing or two.

If you email him asking anything, he responds super quick day or night including weekends. Awesome to deal directly with the owner of the company you are buying from.

I have it on pre order and Tom has been incredibly responsive and helpful. Main reason I went with PSA over other subs (like rythmik). My only hesitation is whether I should go larger with the TV21-neo. He also mentioned there's a EV18-neo coming out which will be around $1200-$1300 which is incredibly tempting! So many great choices.

I think the Italian b&c driver over the Chinese neo driver will be worth it, especially at this preorder price.

Having purchased a TV1813(during that model's preorder a few years ago), I slightly regret not getting a TV2112 (the matte version wasnt available at that time). Id recommend getting the biggest sub possible, as youll always be wondering what the next size up would be like. That being said, the B&C drivers are awesome. Im not sure Id stray away from them.

Also, pretty crazy and cool seeing a PSA sub deal here on Slickdeals.

Also wanted to add that my PSA 1813 purchase was the single most impactful (and most enjoyful and likely most value) audio gear purchase I potentially have ever made. Not everyone wants/needs an 18" (or 21") sub, but if you have a decent set of mains, the addition of a subwoofer (or two) of this caliber (PSA, JTR, Rhythmik, etc) is immensely impactful. I still get a smile on my face whenever I turn the volume up...going on 2 years now. And I dont think anything can touch the value that PSA offers...you cant even DIY one for the price that PSA sells them for.

Tom has mentioned the TV 21 neo-m and the TV2112-m sound very similar (same amp but China woofer vs Italian). I'm tempted to go that route but 150lbs sub (and the extra size) is a bit too much. My wife is already concerned with the size of the ev18 (and I'm currently trying to convince her we need a minimum of two)! I dont have any right now so I am assuming the ev18 will be a huge step up. But you're right I don't want to keep wondering what I could be missing....

Correction. "As your neighbors always be wondering what the next size up would be like."

Klipsch is not even in the same league as PSA. The sub you are referencing is a 12" and the PSA is 18". Big difference. Not to mention the amp difference. Very different buyer pool for each.

Being the contrarian, as an alternative getting 14 Klipsh 12" subs at the same price would be "fun" (as would integrating them all together and placing them in a room). Im sure the mid bass would be impressive with 14 subs lol, but even with 14 of those subs, Id bet the low end (sub 25Hz) would be lacking.

That's a toy compared to this. 100 for that is likely wasted. Get one of the RP deals if you like Klipsch and need a less expensive sub. That is line is a good deal now... if you trust the amps. I'll stick with an ID sub brand personally for the awesome CS and proven designs/amps but the RP are respectable for sure and a huge improvement from what they were slinging before.
