I've been buying from LE for years, but I've noticed that sizes for some items can be... odd... Generally, I'm a medium, but I usually order a large in jackets/coats to have extra room for a sweater, sweatshirt, extra layers, or whatever without feeling constricted. I ordered this Terry Textured Shirt Jacket a couple weeks ago at this price point. I love the feel of it, but the size was completely off. The large was at least an XL, maybe a 2XL. It was huge on me. I sent it back this morning and ordered a medium.
Recently, I've noticed that size can be hit or miss with some things. I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable, so I bought a pair of casual slip on shoes a couple years ago that looked nice enough to get away with them as "dress" shoes for work. I got 2 or 3 different sizes and widths to figure out which worked and send the rest back. The ones that fit are incredibly comfortable, and even my podiatrist commented on how well they were made. I wear them several times a week, and they're still in good shape too. So I decided to get another pair. I looked them up and ordered a new pair in a darker brown. A little puzzled that they no longer offered half-sizes, so I ordered the next size up (i.e. a 10 instead of a 9.5) in wide. They have a completely different fit and feel from the old ones. Not comfortable and couldn't compare to the pair I already have at all. I sent them back the next day.
I still like their cotton supima t-shirts and polos, and their regular "super-T" t-shirts though. But with jackets or outerwear, I have learned to order a couple sizes and send what doesn't fit back. They now use "Happy Returns", so I just have to set up the return, put everything back in the original bag or whatever, and drop it off at the UPS store.
They've definitely changed factories or suppliers or something though.
PS (EDIT): As long as everything doesn't go completely downhill, I'll continue to order clothes from them. But I definitely check sizes immediately.
