do you really need a warranty on a $40 showerhead
The design looks interesting but the demo video show weak water stream.
It's also missing the focused concentrated spray mode which is beneficial and needed. Like Moen deal but pass on this one. Cost don't mean much if it's doesn't work like the way you want it to.
I'm guessing it's this on Amazon.

Costco had a similar magnetic handheld shower head. Looked fugly like this one. One of the advantage of the traditional style handhelds is increasing the height and distance from the wall. This style does neither but you can use it as a microphone 🎤 while singing in the shower

It's Moen, throw it in the trash where it belongs.

Aren't they all made out of the cheap metal looking plastic these days anyways?

This one or another Moen from Amazon for $25?: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DVS40TE/

Can the flow restrictor be removed on this one?

Yes, on the $25 one, there are instructions in the reviews. I meant for the $40 on meh.

They can be removed from all of them. Sometimes you need to use a drywall screw and pull the screen out like a wine cork. A lot of the shower heads have different gpm ratings for different prices. Always choose the cheapest one if you're going to remove the restrictor. They're all the same with just different flow restrictors.

I asked it for both. This is what it said about the $40 one: Moen does not recommend removing the flow restrictor from this handshower, as it has been designed and tested for optimal performance with the restrictor in place.

Having learned that I don't think I'd want to try unless it's been proven to work well without one if it can be removed which isn't clear to me.

I also asked what type of metal this was and it was unsure. It looks like plastic chrome plated to me. And both being less than 2 GPM stock I think I'll pass on both

There are usually ways to drive around that. For example, if you claim that the item was a gift they may go with the warranty based on the manufacturing date. TTI tools will do that for Milwaukee, rigid Ryobi, etc.. Granted that's kind of a different market i've gotten companies to honor warrantees like that.
