I'm debating on pulling the trigger myself... How would you say the actuation force compares to MX Cherry Reds?
It has been a while since I've used cherry reds, my work keyboard is a Keychron Q6 with Gateron reds. The Q6 still feels nicer to type on, maybe just for better stabilization or the key caps.
But this one maybe feels a little faster, less force needed closer to silver switches. But it is really hard to tell. The actuation point can be adjusted to the tenth millimeter so you can change the travel distance. It is smooth. I like it. But I hardly unboxed it yesterday and haven't tinkered too much. Side note I do quite like the wrist pad it comes with.
Edit: checked rtings, the actuation force is 43gf. So that is effectively the same as cherry reds. But you can change that actuation distance. I did drop it to 0.1 mm for a bit to play and see if things got accidentally pressed but that was less of an issue than I thought.

Nice, I'm using a Keychron Q6 and Corsair k70 myself. Debating on buying a wireless one though for my laptop and couldn't decide between this or the NuPhy Air75. Thanks for the insight!
I'd suggest looking at the SteelSeries subreddit to see an endless stream of reports of hardware failures on their products. I personally have owned three products of theirs (I bought them all at the same time), the keyboard in this post, a mouse, and headset. All three had hardware failures in the first year and their customer service was atrocious. $700 down the drain. I will never buy another product of theirs ever again.

Yeah I had the 2023 wireless version but one day I accidently spilled some water over it and it died instantly. I know it was my fault but I'm very disappointed that a $200 dollar keyboard does not have a water resistant coating. Wooting has this coating in their entire lineup and it doesn't even cost that much so clearly SteelSeries is just cutting corners and being greedy. I've switched to a Wooting since then, never buying another SS product ever again. Accidents do happen no matter how careful you are and if I'm going to pay that much for a keyboard it should at least offer some sort of extra protection for peace of mind.
