great machine at $399. Aluminum body feels quite premium, definitely punching above the weight class. Trackpad is also much better than expected in the price class. Comes with Intel AX211 wifi, again, better than others in this price range. Touch screen doesn't matter much to me, but a nice feature. Screen is nothing special, but at 350 nits bright enough. Arc graphics means I can play some older titles and less graphically demanding stuff. I also got a code for Assassin's Creed Shadows, so assuming I can flip that for around $20-30 then this will have been $370ish+tax. I think this is a no brainer at this price.
OP, note that the USB-C ports are USB 4/ thunderbolt.
It says list is 499?

I wonder how did you get the game code? Does it come with this laptop?
Nevermind, I found the answer, it comes with the laptop.

if you're just doing basic word/excel/etc then you should be more than fine.

I picked one of these up last week when they rotated back into stock. It's a great PC so far, feels quite premium, quick, the fingerprint scanner is a nice touch I didn't realize it had.

There is a little bit of light bleed in the corners for me when on a very dark screen. I've only noticed it once.

Great device and thanks for posting OP. Repped. Can see 5 in stock in Indianapolis store. Just wish it was in 14inch instead of 16inch, as 16inch feels a bit heavier and bulkier for my kid.

Repeating what I posted in the older thread and and a bit more.
I was looking for a cheap windows laptop during the holidays and locked onto this one. After looking at the specs more and playing with it in store, I picked it up for 399. The i5 125H is quite powerful, chassis feels a tad more premium, the screen is 16:10, to my eyes I think it's nice and it can reach 350 nits, backlit keyboard, windows hello via fingerprint sensor on the power button, charges via USB's port, good webcam, speakers are just okay but not a deal breaker, and the integrated graphics is just fine for basic things and performs between a 760m and 780m, not bad at all. These are features found in much more expensive laptops. The only downside is the lack of upgradable ram, but 16gb is plenty for my use case and for many. The code of Assassins Creed came via e-mail, I didn't even realize it!

Downside, is that there is bloatware, but can be easily removed with some patience. A clean wipe is an option too.
Lastly, Microcenter offers additional warranty, I believe 1 year extra was 49. I didn't add it since the laptop was cheap already.

Any heat issues, excessive fan or throttling issues? I have heard about that with the 14 inch version. Not sure if I even trust those reports, could just be user not knowing that the first few days of laptop use, Windows is updating like crazy in the background.
